Community Early Years Childcare, offered by Albury Wodonga Community College, provides high quality centre-based and mobile education and care that is responsive, flexible and innovative.
Our services are delivered by the College's team of qualified educators who deliver best practice in early childhood education curriculum and research. This team embraces the National Quality Framework (NQF), Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and Victorian Early Years Learning & Development Framework (VEYLDF). A diverse range of Early Childhood Education and Care services are offered to the community, all of which actively support children, families and communities.
Our education and care services include a mobile service, funded pre-school (kindergarten) program and long day care.
All education and care program venues are based on 'play'. 'Play' is the creative process that lays the foundation for early literacy, creativity and numeracy skills. 'Play' is the perfect tool for developing life skills, such as imagination, inventiveness and persistence - all vital for the development of resilience in children. At all Community Early-Years Childcare offered by the College, each child has the opportunity to participate in planned activities that focus on individual strengths, interests and challenges.
The Albury Wodonga Community College team actively participates in the education of children, after all, it is these formative years that pave the way for future learning. With a broad range of skills, experience and knowledge, the team is passionate about education and supporting each child’s “Belonging, Being and Becoming”.
